## A Unified Suite of Developer Tools

Before we dive into what’s new, let’s look at the full suite of tools Hyperweb has built, and their respective purposes:

### Special Note on CosmJS

While **CosmJS** was not originally built by us, it played a foundational role in enabling JavaScript-based interaction with Cosmos SDK chains. Originally developed by **Simon Warta and the team at Confio**, CosmJS became the first mainstream JavaScript library in the Cosmos ecosystem, inspiring the entire **Interchain JavaScript Stack**. After inheriting it, we completely rebuilt it from the ground up to improve performance, modularity, and cross-chain support—laying the groundwork for the next generation of signing libraries.

## Rebranding for the Future: The Interchain JavaScript Stack

To reflect the growing role of these tools in enabling cross-chain and cross-ecosystem interoperability, we’ve rebranded key parts of the stack and upgraded their functionality:

- **[CosmJS → InterchainJS](https://hyperweb.io/stack/interchainjs)**: Built upon the foundation of CosmJS, but fully re-engineered by Hyperweb to support all blockchains, including Cosmos SDK and EVM networks, with support for EIP712.
- **[Cosmos Kit → Interchain Kit](https://hyperweb.io/stack/interchain-kit)**: Expanded to support wallets like Metamask alongside Cosmos wallets like Keplr and Ledger, providing a unified wallet adapter.
- **[Create Cosmos App → Create Interchain App](https://hyperweb.io/stack/create-interchain-app)**: A starter kit to bootstrap cross-chain apps using InterchainJS, Interchain Kit, and Interchain UI.

### Telescope  
[Telescope](https://hyperweb.io/stack/telescope) has undergone a complete overhaul, introducing new capabilities to enhance efficiency, reduce code bloat, and provide a professional development experience. These updates make it a versatile tool for building high-performance applications across the interchain ecosystem.  

#### Key Updates:  
- **Now Supports InterchainJS**: Telescope now generates TypeScript client libraries that are fully compatible with [InterchainJS](https://hyperweb.io/stack/interchainjs), enabling seamless multi-chain signing and transaction management.  
- **Expanded State Management Support**: Now supports more state management libraries, including React and Vue for TanStack Query, making it easier to integrate blockchain data with modern frontend frameworks.  
- **Dynamic Helper Methods**: A plugin for generating helper methods dynamically, enabling developers to customize their clients with only the modules they need.  
- **Tree-shaking Capabilities**: Optimized bundle sizes to improve performance and reduce unnecessary code.  
- **Automated Encoding Processes**: Simplifies complex encoding tasks, saving development time and effort.  

This upgrade ensures that developers can integrate Telescope-generated code with the evolving Interchain JavaScript ecosystem while benefiting from improved performance, broader blockchain compatibility, and better frontend state management.

### InterchainJS
[InterchainJS](https://hyperweb.io/stack/interchainjs) builds on the foundation of CosmJS but now supports a broader range of blockchains.

#### Key Updates:
- **Adaptability for Multiple Networks**: Makes it easier to integrate with various blockchain ecosystems.
- **Modular and Extensible Client**: Rebuilt the core structure to allow developers to define their own message types and customize their clients with Telescope plugins.
- **Pipeline for Signing and Broadcasting**: Enables a simplified and intuitive transaction flow.
- **Eliminating Redundant Code**: Removed hard-coded helper methods, such as `sendTokens()` and `withdrawRewards()`, enabled by Telescope's code generation capabilities.
- **Removal of `cosmjs-types` Dependency**: Reduced the bundle size by including only essential types like `TxRaw`.

With its adapter pattern, InterchainJS offers universal signing capabilities and better performance, thanks to tree-shaking and reduced bundle sizes.
